A conference for everyone...
Celebrate is a dynamic Catholic faith-filled weekend for individuals or the whole family. There is vibrant worship, sound Catholic teaching, and fellowship in a joy-filled atmosphere. Inspiring talks, children’s age appropriate streams, Mass, worship, and a variety of workshops will be offered. The theme is "Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God". There will be special guest speakers – Jenny Baker and Gemma Wildsmith from the UK, as well as the involvement of Newfoundland priests Fr. Andrew White and Fr. James Fleming. Bishop Peter Hundt, Bishop of the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador, will be celebrating the final Sunday Mass.

WORKSHOPS ON A VARIETY OF TOPICS
On Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning we offer a selection of workshops and seminars many of which will be about using the gifts of the Spirit to help you “Seek first the Kingdom of God”. Topics will include:
The Word of God is Alive and Powerful
The Truth Will Set You Free
Praying as a Family
Who Am I? Letting Christ Reveal My True Identity
Finding Joy in the Midst of Suffering
Communication in Marriage and Family
STREAMS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Celebrate Weekends work well for families too because everyone, whatever age, is able to fully take part. Children will join a stream and engage with fun and faith filled activities appropriate to their age and development. The effect of CELEBRATE is to strengthen the Catholic faith within the family and to help bring up children and youth in the faith, as well as helping them grow into future leaders in the Church.

Words of Welcome from Our Bishop
Bishop Peter Hundt,
Bishop of the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador,
will be celebrating the final Sunday Mass at CELEBRATE.
Dear Participants of the Celebrate Family Conference,
It is a pleasure for me, in my role as Bishop of the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador, to welcome you the Celebrate Family Conference that is taking place here in Corner Brook July 14th and 15th 2018.
We are blest in our Faith to use many family images to describe the relationship that we have with God and with each other through the gift of our initiation into the faith in baptism. The theme of this year’s Conference, “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God”, reminds us that it is in putting God first in life that we open ourselves most fully to the gifts and blessings our Heavenly Father wishes to share with us and our families.
I commend you for putting aside this weekend to come to this Conference that celebrates God’s love for His children and His relationship to them as part of a world-wide, huge and loving family.
With prayers for God’s blessings upon this Conference and all its participants, I remain,
Yours in God’s Love,
Bishop of Corner Brook and Labrador
